I was so embarrassed to make videos I would come into the office on Saturdays to record them🤫
I posted them on youtube and would send them out via email to prospects/customers
Some liked the videos
Others said “Please take me off your list” lol
One day we had an all office meeting and someone made a joke about “Alex making videos on YouTube”
My face turned red and I wanted to hide under my desk.
After seeing no results, having no real strategy, and catching some flack for it, I stopped making the videos.
Flash forward to late 2019/early 2020 and I started making videos again on LinkedIn, this time it was edu-tainment
This time I stuck with it
This time they converted to clients
This time I did something with it
I learned the ins and outs of LinkedIn and video and started a business teaching other companies how to do it.
A few months later I had built a brand and a business to the point where financially I was able to quit my six figure corporate sales job and run my business full time. 🤯
Most of you know how the rest is playing out currently 😎🚀
How did I go from embarrassed to make videos, to one of LinkedIns top video creators? That’s the real question here.
I tell the whole story in this video and share what really changed for me, so that you can learn from it too, and hopefully make that change.
If you’re struggling with getting past your fears/insecurities right now and are tired of hearing people say “who cares what people think” or “you just gotta get over it and post” this video will hit you in the soul and may even be the thing to get you past your fears.
