And you don't even know it's happening š¤Æ
But Iām gonna expose it right now and show you exactly how to do it! š
Because 80-90% of a video's overall performance is highly dependent on your ability to capture your audiences attention in the first few seconds (Before they swipe to the next piece of content)
Your first few seconds can literally make or break your video!!
Now youāve heard that you need a āHookā in your videos in order to effectively grab attention (Duh) but most arenāt teaching you the psychology behind it AND also giving you real life examples of how to do it!
Well I am, so here we go!
It's the space between the information you've revealed and what you're holding back. You give your audience a taste of something intriguing, but they know there's more to come. That's the gap that keeps them curious and hungry for more. (By the way, I didnāt invent this, itās a legit term in marketing..shout out to Marcus Sheridan for first bringing this concept to my attention!)
You've seen the curiosity gap play out everywhere: in headlines, books, TV shows, movies, and, of course, in social media videos. It's the art of making your audience think, "I need to know what's in that gap!" And guess what? We've also been using it in this email since the very beginning. š¤Æ
